Marvel Legends Infinite Series Superior Spider-Man is clad in a modified black and red costume, and is accompanied by interchangeable hands. This version depicts Doctor Octopus’ attempt to prolong his life by transferring his consciousness to Spider-Man’s body. Bitten by a radioactive super-spider, Spider-Man gains enhanced strength, speed and reflexes, wall-clinging ability, and a precognitive spider-sense that allows him to detect the presence of any non-Symbiote adversary. Originally dependent upon his web fluid funneled through his trigger-activated web-shooters, Spider-Man later gains the ability to produce organic webbing abundant enough in supply to immobilize Iron-Man.
